Sending data to your PC has never been easier than with this cable. This USB Direct Cable is a single gage interface, connecting a coolant proof Mitutoyo IP65 gage directly to a computer. The incoming gage readings appear in ANY Windows-based software as if they were typed in using a standard keyboard – eliminates data collection errors. If you want to collect data into a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet, simply select the cell where you want the data to appear.

Connecting the USB Direct Cable with its built-in keyboard wedge to a computer will allow it to be identified as a keyboard device that can send data to any Microsoft Windows application or explorer based SPC software package – no complicated software wedge required.

Readings can be triggered by any of the following:

• Pressing the push button on the USB Direct Cable
• Depressing a connected footswitch (not included)
• Pressing the data send button on the gage connector

Simple to use!

This USB Direct Cable is easily configured to output data in different modes, such as TAB, CR, up, down, left, right and continuous reading. The output mode is selected by adjusting the rotary switch on the cable itself. To access the rotary switch, simply remove the top cover by loosening two Phillips screws. A detailed operation manual is included with each cable.
